Summer Shows 2025

Our summer shows are the backbone of our company. We hold auditions in late spring and our program runs from June through July. We rehearse two nights a week regularly but may have additional rehearsals as needed. Everyone is cast in the show, receives a t-shirt, and is part of a full length musical or play.​

​

We break down our shows into four age groups that we call "companies." We have a variety of companies for actors going into 1st grade through Freshman year of college. We focus on building performance skills and self-esteem through full length productions.

​

Our program is a non for profit powered by the strength of our community.  We do require parental (or high school student) volunteerism or a possible donation in addition to our program fee.  These volunteerism opportunities will be detailed at our parent meeting and include costumes, set, programs, PR, and other show related needs.

Program Fees and What's Included

Program Fees are $300 for the first participant.  For families with multiple participants, program fee is $275 for the additional participant(s).  Our program guarantees the following for all participants:

  • 8 Week Program.  Rehearsals at least two nights a week

  • Video copy of the show

  • Custom Show Shirt

Important Notice

We've have been made aware of some possible rehearsal conflicts between Hello Dolly and the All-State Show, Newsies. We're in contact with the All State Production Team and they have been very considerate about the timing of the Senior Company show. We are hoping to keep conflicts to a minimum and are optimistic that this will have a minimal impact for both shows

Fireflies Company

  • Age Range: Students going into 1st-3rd grade in the fall of 2025

  • Audition Workshop: May 27 4-6pm at The Hope Collective

  • Auditions: May 29 4-7pm at The Hope Collective

  • Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays 5-7 PM at The Hope Collective​

  • Tech Week: July 28-30

  • Show Dates: July 31st at 7 PM and Aug 1st at 7 PM

In this age range we focus mainly on a diverse set of skills for younger leaners listed below + Storytelling + Voice Projection + Memorization + Body Language + Dance Basics (Rhythm and Clean Movements) + Vocal Accuracy + Confidence Onstage + Facial Expressions + Working as a Team

Little Crickets Company

  • Age Range: Students going into 4th-6th* grade in the fall of 2025.

  • Audition Workshop: May 10 1-3 PM at The Hope Collective

  • Auditions: May 16 4-8 PM at The Hope Collective

  • Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays 5-7 PM at The Hope Collective​

  • Tech Week: July 21-23

  • Show Dates: July 24th at 7 PM and July 25th at 7 PM

*Students going into 6th grade in the fall of 2025 will have the option to choose between Little Crickets and Junior Company. They can only choose one show to audition for.

In this age range we focus on improving the skills listed above as well as the ones listed below + Character Work + Creative Problem Solving + Adaptability + Accepting Constructive Feedback + Focus

Junior Company

  • Age Range: Students going into 6th*-8th grade in the fall of 2025.

  • Audition Workshop: May 13th 6:30-8pm at The Hope Collective

  • Auditions: May 20 4:30-9 PM at The Hope Collective

  • Callbacks: May 23 5-7 PM

  • Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-10 PM at The Hope Collective​​

  • Tech Week: July 28-30

  • Show Dates: Aug 2nd at 7 PM and Aug 3rd at 2 PM

*Students going into 6th grade in the fall of 2025 will have the option to choose between Little Crickets and Junior Company. They can only choose one show to audition for.

In this age range we focus on improving the skills listed above as well as the ones listed below + Creative Interpretation + Improvisation + Character Work + Vocal Variety + Working as an Ensemble + Intent

Senior Company

  • Age Range: Students going into 9th grade - Freshman year of college in the fall of 2025.

  • Audition Workshop: May 5 6-8 PM at The Hope Collective

  • Auditions: May 19 6-9 PM at The Hope Collective

  • Callbacks: May 23 6-9 PM at Barrington Station

  • Rehearsals: Mondays and Wednesdays 7-10 PM at The Hope Collective (Some additional Friday rehearsals may be added for leads.)​

  • Tech Week: July 21-23

  • Show Dates: July 26th at 7 PM and July 27th at 2 PM
